EnvisionVR are a tech startup based in Sydney, Australia. They came to us with their very cool indeed business idea, creating virtual reality models of architectural plans. The business plan was done however their baby needed a name and a brand strategy which is where Project A came in. We worked together to name the business and create a brand strategy. This included our full day brand workshop where we created a vision for the look and feel of the brand moving forward. We then created a name for the business, logo and brand guidelines.
Logo Design & Business Name Creation
To create a strong business name and logo design that linked to the core purpose of the company.
1. Strong Architectural lines
The logo should have strong lines within the design to reflect the architecture elements to the business.
2. Graphic Element
Create a graphic element in the logo that can be use as a stand alone graphic within the showroom design and in marketing collateral.
3. Gender Neutral Design
Create a gender neutral and age neutral design which appeals to a broad range of people.
Brand Workshop & Brand Strategy
To facilitate a full day marketing workshop with the EnvisonVR team to create their brand strategy.
1. Create a core mission statement
Create a core mission statement that summarises the overall purpose of the business – why do you exist? This is used as the top pillar in the brand strategy and dictates the tone for the brand.
2. Identify Brand Qualities
Work with Envision to answer questions such as; What is your brand personality? How do you customers perceive your brand if you were a person? How do you want to be seen in the industry?
3. Create Brand Personas
Also known as the target market, brand personas are the key people/groups you are targeting your product or service to.
4. Competitor Analysis
Complete a competitor analysis and identify where EnvisionVR are in the market.
To create brand guidelines that outlined the overarching brand look and feel for EnvisionVR.
Create a colour palette
A colour palette was created which would be used to represent EnvisionVR. The colour palette needed to reflect the brand’s core qualities and be gender neutral.
2. Choose brand typography
A brand’s typography should reflect their core business qualities & personality. The EnvisionVR typography needed to be strong, professional and gender neutral.
2. Create logo guidelines
Once the logo & graphic were created for EnvisionVR, guidelines needed to be set for their use across all channels to ensure brand consistency.
